Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, monthly plans, and top-up minute packs are handled once paid plans are available.

Last updated September 15, 2026 · Version 2026-09-15

1. Subscriptions

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the active billing period. It does not by itself reverse a charge already processed.

2. Payment provider and mandatory refund rights

Paid plans are sold through our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record or payment processor and handles transaction refunds under its own buyer terms, linked at checkout. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law. Depending on your location, this may include a 14-day withdrawal period for an online purchase.

Paid access starts immediately after purchase. By completing checkout you request that the service begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed or purchased capacity has been used. Unless mandatory law or the provider's terms provide otherwise, transactions are non-refundable after the service or purchased capacity has been used. The provider may approve, deny, or require additional information for a refund.

3. Top-up packs

Top-up minutes are one-time usage packs intended for overflow production. They are generally non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law or where a duplicate charge or technical billing error occurred.

4. Failed generations

If a generation fails because of our service and minutes were charged, our ordinary remedy is to restore those minutes or provide replacement capacity. Failed results caused by unsupported input, misuse, or policy violations may not be eligible for credit.

5. Service interruptions

AltVoice may be unavailable or degraded because of maintenance, third-party provider outages, infrastructure failures, security controls, abuse prevention, or events outside our reasonable control. Short or intermittent downtime does not automatically entitle you to a cash refund. For a material outage that prevents use of the core paid service, we may provide restoration, replacement capacity, a subscription extension, or a proportionate credit. If the product is not delivered or delivery is unreasonably delayed, the provider's buyer terms or mandatory law may require replacement, a refund, price reduction, or termination.

6. Abuse and policy violations

We may deny refunds where an account was suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, chargeback manipulation, use of a voice that is not your own, or other violations of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy, except where a refund is required by mandatory law. Filing a chargeback does not cancel the underlying account investigation, and access may be suspended while a dispute or suspected fraud is reviewed.

7. How to request help

Contact [email protected] or submit the request through the payment provider's buyer support linked on your receipt. Include your account email, transaction reference, date, amount, and a short explanation. Refunds are returned through the provider to the original payment method; AltVoice does not send a separate direct payment to bypass the provider.
